About Simt

Simt (السَّمْت, "the direction") is a free, ad-free platform dedicated to Islam. Our goal: open access to verifiable resources, in several languages.

What Simt offers

• Reading the Qur'an (Arabic text, translations, recitation audio, Ibn Kathir tafsir);
• Sunnah — chapters and hadiths from Sahih al-Bukhari;
• Prayer times and Qibla direction computed locally, Hijri calendar;
• Learn section (Islamic finance, Hajj & Umrah, memorization), Quiz, Recitations, Traveler's Guide;
• Mutual aid (Sadaqah): donations go directly to the recipient via their link (Simt handles no funds).

The Qur'an text is public domain. Data comes notably from AlQuran Cloud, islamic.network, fawazahmed0 (hadiths) and open tafsirs. This content remains the property of its respective authors.
